An ordinary written piece of paper,
Containing Squares, figures and words,
A life depends on it? .. Oh, yes;
Two lives are contingent on it?. Perhaps;
Two families are determined through it?.. Maybe;


What is it that the paper contains?
A photograph of the starry constellation
Taken out when the incorrigibles are born;
Squares, figures and words, all juxtaposing
To create a combination of more than one life
Beauty? Figure? Fate? Yes, the Papers say it all!


The times spent by the constellations in the orbit
Could it possibly be the pointer to conjugal bliss?
Years spent as a brooding, waiting, beautiful spinster
Just because her Mars is more active than Saturn?
Years spent as a successful, fertile, ugly wife
All because the Seventh house is perfect


A father dying due to the starry mismatch
Of the Unlucky son;
A mother gaining wealth, a husband a job
What is really in our hands? Do the papers say it all? Or are these mirages in this non-existentialistic world?
