sir, vande mataram is composed in bengali and not sanskrit. it does contain a lot of sanskrit words though.
the only thing i want to comment on his mail is that while there are umpteen number of hindus ready to criticise hinduism and bring a balance, there are hardly any muslims ready to comment on islam.as some one commented some time back on nukkad "i am afraid to comment" " i fear for my life....",this is why it remains a problem.
