[nukkad] This Morning!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
To do great work a man must be very idle as well as very industrious.
-Samuel Butler, poet (1612-1680)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello Gang,

woke up this morning, hit the snooze button and went
back to sleep! I did not want to get out of bed at
all. I've been totally knackered. It is ages since I
had a proper sleep. My four day trip to Wales with a
few (???) of my friends only made it worse!

I dragged myself out of bed, had a quick shower and
had my breakie and was ready, all I had to do was to
wear my shoes and walk out when I saw my housemate
PeeDee. I told PeeDee that I was not going to go to
work and I wanted to go back to bed. He realised that
I really meant it so he literally had to kick me out
to work.

I was really angry with him for that and wasn't very
happy getting on the bus! I slept all the way in to
work. I guess some of you know that I work at the
airport. The first thing that I do is to check out all
the aircraft standing in my hangar before even going
to my desk. Today I had a surprise, I saw a nice
little (???) 737 standing there and that was the end
of all my sobbing. Guess what? An Indian Airlines
aircraft was standing in the hangar. Indian Airlines
generally have their servicing done in their own
hangars in Bombay so there is no way that I see IA in
here. So I threw the backpack on my desk and ran to
the aircraft.

Imagine my happiness in sitting inside the aircraft
and walking around in the aircraft. It was as though a
part of India had come to visit me in person. I never
realised I would feel this way!!!

I am really mad, ain't I?

have a nice day,
-Shyami

PS: Asha, I would love to join you on the bullock
cart.. reminded me of the good old days when one of my
grandpa's had a bullock cart and I would get a free
ride when whe went to the next village :) Oh those
summer holidays.....
