your analysis of bombay roads is a good example of what will happen when
absolutely everyone gets concerned with the problem... my request to people
living in bombay... send dozens of letters , encourage all your friends to
send letters to the chief editor of indian express (people's newspaper) and
ask him to initiate a public debate on bombay's traffic problem and its
solutions... it has been attempted half heartedly earlier and our
beaurocrats have ignored public opinion so far !! this time around we
should have a system of public refrendum on the issue .
meanwhile nris should post the solutions adopted by their new countries and
contriibute to the possibilities..(earlier our beaurocrats went on fishing
trips around the world and came back with bags full of foreign maal)
let's get involved and ..... make a difference.
