[nukkad] Houses in India - Mumbai

Hi Nukkadites, 
 
It seems so nice to be able to talk to Mumbaites in Cyberspace, 
jeez - I must say I am excited !!! 
 
This is my first foray into this newsgroup, so please excuse me 
if I do not adhere to any set protocols. If this message is not 
appropriate for the news-group - my apologies. 
We have a similar news-group among Indians ("INDIANS") here in Oracle Corpn., 
U.S. 
and it has turned out to be a very meaningful and resourceful forum for 
obtaining various different sorts of information be it related to Visas, 
Apartments, 
Jobs, Travel, Music, Sports, News, etc. for all of us. 
 
I hope NUKKAD aims at a much more broad array of discussion, after all there is 
so much stuff going on in Mumbai all the time !!! 
 
O.K. here I am with my first request for info. 
 
I am looking to purchase a house in Mumbai (preferably in South Bombay but 
other areas especially Western Suburbs might be considered upto Bandra...) 
and wanted to know if someone has a compilation of latest available houses 
with details of price, location and availability. 
If someone knows of a friend/relative who is looking for buyers, that would 
help me too. 
I guess the local newspapers like the TOI, IE etc. carry lot of info about 
them, 
but I have very limited access to them here. 
If someone could point me to a web-site where I can obtain this kind of info. 
I will greatly appreciate that. 
 
Looking forward to some interesting replies and again my apologies if this 
kind of mail info request is not meant for this news-group.
