Venkat, Thought I should share my views on this. Dude, have u heard this short story of a young man having lost his gold earring somewhere was searching for it in the light (though he lost it in the dark). later an older man passing by stopped and asked what he was doing, to which the young man said he was searching for his lost ring. when asked where he had lost it, he replied it was in the dark by the side. when asked why he was searching where he was searching, he said there was no light to look for where he had lost, so he was searching where there was light. So despite the light can he still find the ring ? I guess you must have realised where I am driving to. You have come here (of course I mean in the U.S.) searching for something which is not even there !!! It just seems like because there is too much of "light" . But you will only find what you are looking for, back home where it is actually there. Agreed, it is tough to find it there becasue it is "dark" but it still makes sense to look for it there. Hope I have made my point clear. Thanks and begin you quest for search, before it is tooooo late. !!! Rajesh

I am going to propose a discussion. The American Dream. We all work so hard for this ever elusive 'American Dream'. It seems to me like there is not enough time in the day to have fun. I was listening to the radio today (ofcourse on my way to work) and the topic was about family life in the US. The speaker was saying that life has become '9-5 at the office'. He said - Nothing can make up for failure at home. He was talking about how little quality time we spend with people who are significant in our lives. And also how we seem to keep pushing things we would rather be doing out of our lives (e.g. learning to swim, going on a nature walk). Instead, after a full week at work, the weekend seems to be spent on trying to catch up on the things we haven't been able to get to. I seem to have this problem and just meeting friends for dinner has worn its charm. I would like to hear about what new and interesting ways people spend their time on to keep their life from becoming mundane. Ramble on ...
