Couldn't tell you much about Bombay, but if you were ever in Los
Angeles, definitely could steer you or escort you to some cool places. 

I live in Long Beach, California, so sorry for not being able to answer
your question. But when I was in Bombay - a lifetime ago - places worth
being at and seeing at were: Shamiana at the Taj Mahal Hotel; Lancers
Bar at Oberoi's; Copper Chimney; but that was eons ago.
