Re: [nukkad] FW: Two choices. A bit long But a good read.

Dear Nikhil,

That was a nice one. Now taks something philosophical from me.

In the process of growing up we are continuously making choices. In fact
we are doing so in every living moment. Each choice produces
consequences. We are quite aware of the success (and failures) in the
world outside. What we often ignore is that each choice is also
affecting us internally. Progressively, our attention tends to shift
towards the outside consequences. We tend to ignore the way in which
each choice affects out identity - our way of thinking, feeling and our
value system. Progressively an expanding chasm develops between the SELF
and the image that is relentlessly being shaped by society, the EGO.
This chasm, over time, is filled with self-doubt, confusion, anxiety,
fear, insecurity, frustration & other forms of negativity.

Many of us succeed in material terms but find something is missing in
our lives. That something is vital and yet we can't quite find it. Many
others are trapped in the see-saw of success and failure. The vital
breakthrough keeps eluding us. As a result peace of mind, joy, a sense
of fulfillment, love, meaningfulness, etc. are like passing clouds.

Wet Regards

Manish Gupta
