Hi fellow Mumbaiyaas,

I realise that the list has been "chatty" for a few days but I doubt we 
are sidetracking.  The reason for this list (and the entire Mumbai Central
project) was to have a forum for folks from the city to "meet" and keep
in touch. 

Since "nukkad" is an open and unmoderated list, it will be what we make it 
to be. If you see something that you don't like, feel free to start a 
discussion on something that you feel strongly about or even not so strongly 
about. If there is enough interest, others will join in, resulting in an 
idea exchange that did not exist before thus making the list's jeevan 
saarthak.

Regarding news from the city, I am glad I was able to send out some 
breaking news in the past and I will try to keep it up. I have tried to 
contact the local media organizations (not only for "nukkad" but for the 
Mumbai Central project as a whole) but have not had much success. If 
there are any newsy-types or media people on this list or if you know 
someone in the news biz, please contact me.

For people interested in financial news, the business section of Mumbai 
Central at <http://www.mumbai-central.com/quotes/> has a daily BSE+NSE 
summary and regularly updated business news. I toyed with the idea of 
posting the market summary on this list but decided against it since not 
many people would be interested in it. If you are interested, you
know where it is.

I hope I have addressed the concerns about this list. 

I know that everyone on this "nukkad" has a different view of it. Trying
to meet all those expectations is a futile exercise but we can all try to 
make it an interesting neighborhood.
