Last week we told you where WFP distributed the 3.4 million tons of 
food it provided to the world's hungry in 1999. Unfortunately, the 
wrong percentages were pulled for this story. We apologize for this

Here are the correct statistics:

 * 51.5% was distributed in Asia
 * 32.7% was distributed in Sub-Saharan Africa
 * 7.7% was distributed in Eastern Europe
 * 5.3% was distributed in Latin America
 * 2.8% was distributed in North Africa and the Middle East
