Tip of the day: "It is well to remember that the entire universe, with
one trifling exception, is composed of others." -- John Andrew Holmes

MUBASHIR AUR GIRISH KI KAHANI
Do bhai, kyun kar kare hai-hai?
Dono ko ek hi Khuda, par mane juda juda
Dono ko ek hi mann, par hai yeh gum-shuda*
Dono ko ek hi dil, har waqt rahete thei hil-mil
Dono ko saral rah, par bana di bahut mushkil
Dono ko ek hi kaya, bharmave dono ko maya
Dono ko ek hi bhook, dhoop me ek hi saya*
Dono khelte the bachpan, dar* desh-e-gulzar*
Ayi jawani mastani, pad gayi dharam ki maar
Khuda har jan me ek, kyu dou kari mane?
Andar bhara kapat, agey chal pade shyane.
Donou bhai rahete the, ek hi kutiya ke sahar*
Dharam ka bhoot jaga, donou hue khuwar*
Ek hi dharti par asan, peetey thei ek hi paani
Jhagad kar door hue, kari dharam ki manmani
Jis din kiye Hari ke tukde, mano ayi barbadi
Dono ghar bhaye ujjad, sar par musibat ladi
Pahele lagi aag ghar me, baad jalaya shahar
Jabh do Rabb ki thani, poore vatan me kahar
Soch lo Arya ki batein, suljha lo sohani ratein
Jinhe paya antar me Ek, woh anhad sukh patein
Rab na masjid mandir me, Hari mile dil ke par
Jisne is tarah pa liya, mano gulshan me gulzar.*
Nothing separates out people more than the dictates of their beliefs.
All of these are outward, and become One when tending inward.
Which is to say all the jhagra-fasad is based on outward forms.
