Friends,                                                            I am
refering to Guptaji`s posting on dating Lord Rama`s life. For many people
Rama is only a mythological character and would not have walked in flesh
and blood on this earth. However dating Him to 7300 BC makes me think twice
in my long standing belief in the sense that I am now some what inclined to
have faith in his physical existence. I have read some where that Man
started resembling man of today some 10000 years ago. Earlier man resembled
more like monkey than man of today. Thus Ram's existence coincides roughly
with man's transiting appearance from monkey to modern man. This probably
explains inclusion of monkeys ( Vanar sena ) in his entourage.
