I am not trying to prove any thing.Somebody accused me of being cruel and I just replied to that.I was just saying that eating veg or non veg does not make good or bad people.
As for your other mail where you have questioned our beliefs regarding Pig and Dog.
Islam never advices its followers to hate and despise animals(Pigs and Dogs included).
Our only problem is with eating pigs meat.Pigs meat is the most difficult to digest and harbour more microbes then any other meat.Plus it feeds it self on filth.It is the best scavenger available on the earth, so I am not denying its utility.Don't we keep dirty things out of our house.At least we don't classify humans on the basis of their professions and treat them as second class citizens.We don't have Shudras(Some time I feel that It is better to be a pig in a muslim country then a scheduled caste man in India.)
We believe that you are like the food you eat.So you see, we are as gentle and amenable like vegetables,cows and Goats.Pigs is the only animal having abhorrent mating ritual whereby a male pig calls other pigs to have sex with his mate.A female pig gets pregnant with many Pigs.You eat pig and you behave like pig.No wonder implicit sex and wife swapping is such a bane in western world(I am not trying to deduce any thing.It is unscietnfic.)
Keeping Dog, is never prohibited in Islam, only condition being that the saliva of the Dog should not spill in your home.So you can keep them out side.The prime concern is hygiene and nothing else.
I don't hate pigs, dogs and non muslims.Of course I am afraid of stary dogs in my locality while venturing out in the night or the saffron clad vulture who wants to tear of  flesh from my body.
