RE: What SIMI is all about??

Hi for all,

 To be honest I have not read the mail from Mubashir but still I would like raise some questions regarding SIMI.

1. Has any time SIMI or its leaders have come out against terrorist activities in Kashmir or bomb blast in Mumbai. 
   Not a single time!!! This itself shows who pepole are behind this organization.

2. If this is Student movment then what type of student movement is this? They are brain washing Muslim youth in the name of     
   fundametalism and pulling back them to the 12th century. Instead of giving the modern education (which they consider as   
   unholy??) to muslim youth these are insisting on teachings from Koran. Just imagine if any Hindu party says that it want to 
   follow the teachings of "Manusmruti" (old Hindu text book about social norms) what would be the raction of other society.
   Here please do keep in mind that I am totally against any kind of fundametalist teaching but I think that muslims as a community 
   are more prone to this type activities because lack of intellectual control over them.

3. SIMI activities are found to be making films and other documentation which also suggets that these pepole are working as   
   pakistani gameplan to destry Indian Republic and to create Afghan like stiuation in Indian subcontinent.

4. If it is a student movement then they should declare what these pepole are doing for the uplifting of young people ,women and 
    other weaker coomunity in Muslims.

5. And finally just few days back one of the SIMI leader says that they want to substitute Koran for Indian constitution.


   I think as a nation we have become soft target and anybody is allowed to make such cooments and can escape because of vote 
   bank politics.
   I hope that Mr. Bujabal (Home minister of Maharashtra) will continue his effort to crackdown such so called movements without 
   any political pressure.
