Amit

What you have posted is probably a forwarded mail but .......
....... no offense but all this seems very melodramatic in nature.
Like a NRI film script written by Subhash Ghai.

Most of us IT folks dream of going to foreign shores. For some it becomes
all consuming desire.

Once we get there we get homesick and mope about how we miss chai and
vadapav (I too belong to this tribe, I admit).
But isn't this a classic case of the grass being greener on the other side
??

The basic funda is going there to enjoy life and do things that we
wouldn't/couldn't do over here.(U know what I mean)

One more good thing about going abroad is that you get a chance to stay
independently and fend for yourself.
You live your own life and learn a lot while staying on your own

At home everything is readymade for you, your parents fawn over you and you
don't have to worry about the minute things in life.
But staying on your own, you come to know what we know as "atte dal ka
bhaav".

All in all leaving the tear eyed girl next door might make one miserable but
the gains outnumber the losses.

Regards
Nelson
