---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well-timed silence has more eloquence than speech. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- But bharat bhai... i dont think that just because arya makes a funny ( relative, that) poem about something means that he is stopping anyone from discussing it... i'm sure all of us are free to post as many messages on religious topics ...as we want ...arya ( or anyone else) can ridicule them if they like ..but they cant stop anyone..... so where is the question that he is stopping / discouraging people from expressing their love for god ? i'm sure he /anyone should have the freedom to ridicule something if he thinks of it as worth ridiculing... if u dont agree with him.. u r free to point out where u think he is wrong... are'nt u ?? cheers, Husain -----Original Message----- From: Bharat Kapadia Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2002 8:13 PM To: nukkad-list@mumbai-central.com Subject: Re: Digest Number 377 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Pretty much all the honest truth-telling there is in the world is done by children." - Oliver W. I agree with the "To each his own" that you have printed in your email above. That is why you saw in my email that I mentioned that he will have to take on a lot of life forms before he befriends teh Lord again. It is just that he will not do anything when people send trivial jokes or even outright trash; but when someone sends something, with even a tinge of religion or love of God and he at once bursts into denigrating it or writing a ridiculing poem about it. Don't you think he should let the people who truly love God express it? The same goes wih one's Guru. I am just trying to state my observation about it. It seems that Kali yiga has REALLY taken hold of a lot of members at Nukkad such that they have NO interest whatsoever in hearing about God.
