Hello,
As if interfering in Kashmir is not enough Pakistan has decided to meddle in
the internal affairs of Sri Lanka, with whom it does not share border.
During his recent visit to Lanka, Parvez Musharaf pledged to put pressure on
the government to work in the interest of its Muslim minority.
He met with Rauf Hakeem, the leader of the island's main Muslim party, the
Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC), who brought to him the 'plight' of Islamic
community living there.
Musharaf's reply : " Pakistan would exert political and diplomatic pressure
on Sri Lanka to find reasonable solutions for the problems of Muslims."
It seems Pakistan is determined to play a destructive role in South Asia.
