Your appraisal of Palestinian - Israeli problem is very near true.
The covert agenda of all Palestinian organisations is nothing but to throw
Israelis in the sea. Only other option to be given to them is to convert.
As far as my experience goes with Palestinians and Pakistanis, the latter
are far more rational to talk to. The Jews know very well that unless they
effectively control Palestinian Arabs, they have no surity of their
existence.
Arafat is a mean self-seeking person who is wholly responsible for the
current pathatic condition of his people. I have many reasons to believe
that this man's IQ is not equal to even that of a municipal councillor of a
town in Bihar.
He is simply delaying the settlement only to stay in limelight and extract
money from wealthy Arab nations under one pretext or the other. In the mean
time his men continue to do acts of mindless violence and in the process get
slaughtered by the Israeli army, to which he is least bothered.
As long as Arafat is at the helm of negotiating affairs, expect no peace.
Lastly, I am in the least worried if I read tomorrow headlines : 10
Palestinians killed in Israeli army action.
Because if Israelis do not finish them, they themselves will be finshed off
by these terrorists.
Dr. Gupta's vote in favour of Palestinian cause is more out of his negative
vote for the American policies, which to an extent is understandable.
Bear in mind, no Arab nation is genuinely interested in Paletine any more.
The movement which started 55 years ago as true Arab nationalist movement,
has today, due to brainless violence done worldwide by Palestinians over the
years has degenerated into undesirable terrorist movement.
Once again I must say, Harshal has shown good understanding of the Middle
East situation.
