Was there some honour/ revenge involved? The crime appears most abnormal
unless the killers were psychopaths.

And, the beheading of the woman is quite something as there is no
capital punishment for women in India. Had it been done here, she would
have got life imprisonment.

That brings the question that Muslim countries also have upgraded their
penal system over and above shariat. In QHS, there is no possibility of
punishment suggested for drug trafficking as it was not happening 1400
years ago.

They have identified more crimes and devised punishments for them as the
need arose. I wonder when they will start reviewing the system defined
in QHS and upgrading to meet current realities.
