To clarify the matter, the above quoted line I had written in reply to
Jagmag ji's mail. Azim has only quoted this.
> the greatest threat to our nation in modern times. brainwashed since their childhood in mcaulaite education ,fallen into the trap of the nehruvian-stalinists they still believe that present day history is not to be rewritten.
A history can never be re-written. It can only get extended to
accomodate the new facts.
The current version of history is that there was a temple.
Babar could not re-write this history by demolishing it and
intentionally making a masjid over that very place. The history remains
that a millenia old temple was demolished and a mosque was constructed.
It is also a part of proven history that there were no rituals, no
azaan, no namaaz being carried out at that place for centuries.
When masjid was demolished, the history could not get rewritten. The
history got extended but remained that a madir was demolished to
construct a mosque which was demolished.
If you build a temple over there, history will again get extended . It
will not get re-written.
> that is because their covert plan is to completely destroy the social-economic-cultural fabric of india.
That is correct observation. I completely agree that it is being done.
> distorting history one of the age old methods of killing a culture as many a past examples shall illustrate.
Distorting hostory would be something like proving that Russia- U.S.
were always friendly to each other since time immemorial, or proving
that hindu-muslims had been living amicably for last 1400 years.
That is an attempted lie. It will not stick. There will be enough minds
who will know and accept the truth. Thus distortion of history will
always fail, and will not lead to killing of a culture.
> the damage done to india and its self-esteem in the past 50 years is

The attempts to harm India are bearing the good fruit that indians are
more aware to understand these games and able to counter them.
No outsider can harm the self-esteem of a person or of a community or of
a nation. Others can only try to malign it, but it remains in the hands
of that person, that community, that nation whether it stands ground to
its true value-system so that charges come unstuck.
> this is because when foreigners denegrate your culture n belittle ur customs n manipulate history to suit them the local people are not taken aback. that was what the conquerors intended to do in the first place.
Yeah, that was attempted. But you would agree that 1400 years long reign
of agression and senseless terror unleashed by muslims has not done any
harm to hindus, but it has rather put muslims and Islam themselves in
bad light.
It was quite an insight of musharraf when he said in his tele-sermon
that All the deeds of pakistan against India in last two years have only
put the tag of a terrorist state and religion on them.
Hitler tried to eliminate Jews and their religion. It was he who got
eliminated and tainted.
> the religion of the majority then the people actually start
> believing that they are inferior.
A person believing in his true value system will never start considering
himself inferior on the basis of what someone says about him.
> however when a person u trust scoffs at u u stop n think whether

And you will come to realise that you are not bad, and that bully is bad
and not worthy of your trust.
> today india -- a name that once brought images of richness
> cultural strength righteousness and prosperity evokes images of abject
> poverty misery,superstition n confusion.
These are material things. Essense of India much the same.
> all this has one root cause more than anything else. "LACK OF SELF RESPECT".
That was the whole point in my first statement. There are enough people
who still feel self-respect for their nation. A koh-e-noor stolen does
not reduce self-respect. A sati does reduce it.
> The madrassas n missionary schools run by government subsidies teach hate in the vilest form n spread malice towards the large hearted majority community (i have personally seen them do this) but nobody utters a word -
It is happening and it is sad. But there are people who are not taking
things lying down and are raising their views. One of them is you.
> many a facts that i shall elaborate in some future mail.
Do post those mails. Everyone has gone through such learning.
> i am not without hope. alsready in society i can see undercurrents that desire to know the real history n r finding pride in what they were n seek to achive that same status in the future too.
Amen.
> however the threat to be overcome is the <<"POPULACE" that want history to be as it is in indians to be slaves forever.
Again, Understanding history as it is was not for accepting its
righteousness. It was rather to take lessons from the history so that it
does not get repeated.
Akshay ji,
Your mail was an excellent expression of views held deep in heart. I
thoroughly enjoyed reading it and learned from it.
Do post more mails like this.
