The religious intolerance and political opportunism of muslims did cause
United India to break in India/ Pakistan.

But where is question of religious intolerance in United Pakistan
getting disintegrated into Pakistan/ Bangladesh? East Pakistan and West
Pakistan were a single country with Islam as state religion. Where is
the question of religious intolerance amng themselves. Why did they play
the game of political opporunism among their bretheren?

India's role in evolving East Pakistan into Bangladesh was only
incidental and instrumental. The embers were already burning hot and
red. As a country, it was the duty of United Pakistan to resolve their
internal matters and live amicably. Sheikh Mujib was not India's
creation. He had got his stature on his own.

I would say that it was divine justice to United Pakistan. They sowed
division, they reaped division. Mighty is the will of Allah.
