Dear Karelia & Rawat
                    What Najma meant was not a Hindu/Muslim angle. Her statement is
the typical feminist one. However I don't agree with Najma's point of view. Men
alone cannot be blamed for what happened there. Is she trying to tell us that men
among the villagers were thrusting their male hegemony on a hapless old woman
through this incident? What stopped the female folk from preventing this happen?
