Yes but the format is different in this case.

To join the regular 'nukkad' list, send an email to
nukkad-list-request@mumbai-central.com with 'subscribe' (without
quotes) in the SUBJECT of the email. To leave the list,
send an email to the same address with 'unsubscribe' (again, no quotes)
in the subject.

The procedure for the digest is similar except that the
emails should be sent to nukkad-digest-list-request@mumbai-central.com

Because of the long addresses and the need to have correctly
spelt commands, the email-based system is prone to many errors.
A lot of people either send their requests to the wrong address
or mis-spell the commands.

Using the web interface is the best way to avoid these problems.
This has another potential for error - people have to enter their 
correct email address and you would be surprised at how many
get it wrong. But it is still better than the email-based
system.

It is usually sent at around 6:00 PM IST but this can vary by
an hour or so. Also, each digest has a max of 25 messages. So if
more digests need to be created and sent, they may be sent
late in the night (IST).
