As I had mentioned, if Gandhi had lived for one more month, he was planning to go on a walk all over Pakistan. History of India-Pak relations would have been totally different had he succeeded in that.

He sure would have got killed there.

 -Rawat

## Hmm well Rawat frankly i see less Chances of getting him killed there(considering he fasted to get Pakistan paid the money surely now they dont Honour Him But that time people did have some respect for him)But still cant Deny The chances of what u said happening there.More chances of better relation with pakistan if he had succeeded his yatra.

Reason is After Independence Pakistan is educationally still in the 1960s. thier Progress in Literacy is Very low. Unlike us we still have a little larger number of moderate thinking people but there very less know that war or terrorism if of no use. But due to less in Numbers thier opinion hardly works. if Gandhiji Then Would have done that peace March there would have been chances of thier better relationship with india since 1947 and then maybe they could have progressed with us and was a better chances of a merger, which looks impossible now.
The Partition Injected A very heavy Dose Of hatred in the heart of people on both the side. Gandhiji could have been the antidote for it or even Bhagat singh if he would have been alive. But more or less i feel bhagat singh Would not have allowed the Partition to happen in first Place he was not a religious person and he would have never allowed the partition of this country in name of Religion( nor would I if i would have been alive at that time). And at that time looking at his Popularity among indians (which was almost equal to that of Mr Gandhi) he could have been able to do something as we all know that he was aware of the threat of the religious leaders using religion to gain power (That brings one Question to my Mind Was Bapu Aware of the threat? can somebody put light on this?). But its too late now We lost legends who could been the reason behind SouthAsian Peace . And now we are on the verge of War!

God be with Us!

Bye,
