by now, you must have got that computer guys have a teeth for choosing
names.

Daemons are programmes running all the time in the background for some
specific task.

Mailer-daemon is the programme which controls the traffic of incoming or
outgoing mails.

As simple as that.

In this particular case, this is just an email-id selected by
hclinfinet.com They named it after the program. Other servers name this
id to be postmaster or returned-mail or bounced-mail.
