It helps in understanding what other person is
going through. Quite often, it helps the person
himself also understand what he/ she is going
through as he has started feeling something but
never deliberated what it can be.

I like to interact with people. I read their body
language and deeper meanings in their words/
phrases/ tone etc. Then I get some idea of what
is happening in him/ her. 

Thenafter, I start querying him whether he is
feeling this, whether he is thinking this. Of
course, the answer is yes. And then he realises
that I am not asking him. I already knew and I am
telling him, just asking his confirmation.

That develops a unique bond between us. Some
become more guarded and do not share, but most
feel relieved and freely share whatever passes
through their mind, and I help them in
streamlining the chain of their thoughts, removing
confusions, reducing anxieties, and they are in a
better position to take a stand or make a
decision.

I take care that I do not force my thoughts on
them. I have helped people take decisions that I
myself will never take. But I do keep it
within a broad principles and value system.

I recently wrote that I do not go to people, they
come to me. They come to me primarily for these
sessions. And one can see peace descending on his/
her composer.

I just love the look of AHA experience on the face
of the person. The sudden realisation when he/ she
starts seeing sense amidst the chaos that had been
so overwhelming him.

The best feeling is to tell a person or make him
realise that he is in love with somebody.
Surprisingly, irrespective of age or gender,
everybody blushes.

As you said, these are not exactly definitions,
but only hints. Those are also good enough as long
as it helps somebody in understanding oneself
more.

My favourite pasttime is to introspect the
feelings. It is psychological role playing, making
my thoughts and body fall in line with my
emotions. For example, I think what all a killer,
a killed, or a person going to commit suicide
might be going through.
