Re: [nukkad] Love

It is hard to believe that a man is telling the truth when you
know that you would lie if you were in his place.-" H. L. Mencken

 Rawat, answering my question:

 > > Why are definitions so dear to you?

It helps in understanding what other person is
going through. Quite often, it helps the person
himself also understand what he/ she is going
through as he has started feeling something but
never deliberated what it can be.<

OK. But still, definitions are often so limiting. In my opinion.

 > I like to interact with people. I read their body
language and deeper meanings in their words/
phrases/ tone etc. Then I get some idea of what
is happening in him/ her. <

Very rightly. Yet, you probably wouldn't be able to get it if you relied
solely on definitions. You need the help of intuition for that.

 > Thenafter, I start querying him whether he is
feeling this, whether he is thinking this. Of
course, the answer is yes. And then he realises
that I am not asking him. I already knew and I am
telling him, just asking his confirmation. ( ... )<

Sounds like a psychoanalyst. Which is not your profession, I guess.
Seriously speaking, people must value you as a friend.

 > As you said, these are not exactly definitions,
but only hints. Those are also good enough as long
as it helps somebody in understanding oneself
 more.<

Yes. But it's only the first step on the path that then must be followed in
 one's own individual way.

 > > Bravo! How come you knew the proper gender ending for the surname?
> >
 > You taught me. Thanks.<

Oh, it must have been at the beginning of the linguistic debate. Have I
 mentioned my rotten memory before?

> > Experiencing the differences of our planets and trying to create some
> similarities out of them.

 > Wish you success.<

 Thanks. Bye,

 Anna.
