PS: 'Shal, as a moderator you might like to consider these
suggestions.

1. Please post meaningful goodbye-feedback to the list. Maybe
people can learn from them. Currently only you are knowing them,
and you must be attending the administrative part in feedback.
When you write on the basis of feedback, some people might be
thinking that these are your opinion, But when people see the
actual feedbacks, they might be more open to act upon the content
part of feedbacks.

While posting, I think the name and id of the unsubbed member can
be removed, so as not to bias people.

2. As a moderator, maybe, you can randomly select new topics and
initiate some threads. I am sure some members will definitely
participate thus the content variety will increase.

Maybe you can take one or two general topic news items from
grapewine itself from time to time and post them at the list. Or
if you are surfing net often, you might pick some artical on
general topics and post here.

I promise that I will also post such things here. Maybe I myself
do not participate further in the thread, but interested persons
might pick it up and add their views. request others also.

3. Conduct a weekly poll on general topics. All newspaper sites
are having daily poll.

The poll might better be on the site, so that traffic increases
there also. and information about the poll and the question/
option are posted on the list to generate discussion.

There were several sites where readymade poll scripts can be
downloaded free, but I am sure you would be able to write that in
a day.

4. conduct meets more often. give a permanent page for member's
pics, meets' pics.

Request members to add more.
