correction sir, i am always open for religious discussions
and have taken part too.
but not a verbal duel in the form of hindu vs muslim.
i don't think it serves any purpose.
some people seem to be adamantly sticking to their stance
(shall i say on both sides?) and will not change their views.
i don't expect them to.
in such a scenario there is little achieved by a "religious discussion."
that is why i keep away from these.
i certainly will not vote for doing away with religious discussions.
or doing it one to one.
it will be worse.
when two hindus discuss it, is there any problem? mud slinging?
max, me, arya have agreed to disagree on the topic of guru bhakti.
was there a problem? the postings on judaism went well for some time
till....
it is desirable that such discussions go on.
i think the real objection should be to
discussion on communal lines.
if people have been hesitant saying it, i am saying it.
that is where the problem is.
religion is only an excuse.
it is simply amazing to me why people will bother and
   hold brief to happenings of another community/ country
   miles and ages away.
   i don't understand this.
