Recently I came to meet a few persons who have completed M.B.A.
this year. I came to know from them that job prospects for M.B.A.
are real bad, actually pathetic.

Of course, they are not from IIM, XLRI and such renowned ones.
They all are from diferent payment seats or private colleges.

But it was very disheartening to find that fresh M.B.A. were
ready to work for Rs 3000/- a month (indore) but they were not
getting jobs.

What is the situation at other places? Mumbai? Delhi?

Is it specifically with payment seats, or general?

I do observe that most of them were smart, good at speaking,
excellent atpresentation, but the content part of their talks and
work was rather poor.

Is there a trend change in in the education that M.B.A. are
taught mostly hawaabaazi and not much solid.

A few weeks ago, I had read an article in Hindustan times that
some firms are taking policy matter decisions not to hire M.B.A.
as their expectations are high which does not match their
contribution. It included foreign firms also.

I had always held M.B.A. in esteem. I myself feel sad that I did
not do this. But looking at this changed scenario, I was shocked
and sad.
-----------------
Also came across some persons, who had cleared the P.E.T
(enginnering enterance).

They were avoiding I.T. like a curse. I.T./ Comp.Sc. seats were
the last ones to get filled.

The trend has not changed instead fo so many claims to the
otherwise we see in the newspapers.

Civil was further behind I.T.
--------------------
Due to this, there was gold rush back towards traditional fields
like electronics, electrical and mechanical.
------------
In P.E.T., people were probably not aware about bio-technology,
thus these seats also got filled quite late, though earlier than
I.T.

Current applicant might be worried that job prospects might be
quite restricted due to its limited field and less companies
working on it.

I think Biotech has a great future. If I have change my fied and
restart all over, I shall go for Agriculture Sc or genetics.
