I find that religious threads are not being condemned by the
members due to their religious nature, but due to style of
presentation. 

There are name-calling, abusing, questioning integrity, unfounded
generalisation, forced teaching, threatening, self-deifying, etc
happening in religious threads which is what members are finding
indigestible. And very rightly so.

I wish to request members to identify that there are only some
people who are indulging in all or some of the above. There are
several persons participating in religious threads who are
following netiquettes and whose mails are examples of decency.

Thus, we should not condemn religious threads in general, nor
should we condemn all members who are participating in religious
threads.

We should censor only those members who are transcending
courtesies.

The persons participating in these threads might wish to analyse
whether they are courteous or demeaning to others. Whether your
style of presentation is getting a bad name for the threads and
all the members participating in them.

Then you can modify to make it acceptable to others so that these
threads continue.
