Hi Gang,

Sometimes stupid…

A lonely and a scary night… The rocks were slippery.
The violent waves splashed against them. She was
soaked in the seawater. Blood oozed out of her wounded
heart. She felt as though someone was piercing those
wounds with a needle. The pain was unbearable.

That evening, the man she loved dearly had been so
very nasty. She closed her ears wanting to stop that
haunting voice. The waves hissed. Lightning cut the
sky into two parts. The thunder shook the land of the
dead. The rain began. 

‘You’re in love with a devil. Beware!’ had warned
many. ‘You’ll get nothing but pain and insults. Forget
him.’ She knew it all. Yet she erred. The Bird of Jove
hovered up in the sky, shrieking a warning note. What
an evening!

The rain poured, poured and poured. Was it trying to
cleanse her off his thoughts? The sea was fierce. She
was tired and her body ached. ‘Love you’, she had
whispered softly. ‘Don’t!’ he warned. Could she free
herself from his thoughts? Her cold body collapsed on
the rocks. She winced in pain.

She was on her warm bed surrounded by her family.
‘I’ve given her a shot. She’ll sleep. Don’t let her go
out for a few days. She needs rest.’ Who brought her
home? Why were the images disappearing? Was this an
illusion too? She closed her eyes.

‘You have a choice… you always have a choice!’ echoed
the voice of a beautiful stranger.
