your time zone is  -4  and  Max's  -7, so 
U2 are 3 Time Zones (3 hours) apart; 
most probably both in usa; so how can Max 
whom u refered as yor buddy still be

...and if in the world of imagination, then 
there is 'no dooree' :)  Nodistance matters !
