i totally agree... theres No faayda at all.... but then its just that
a bigger nickname has so much more scope of being something more
interesting / funny / mysterious as compared to a simple standard one 
word nick... i mean... pintoo, vicky, etc ...i find them soooo boooring... 
A nick should convey some impression about the owner.... not that one 
word nicks cant... a great one is "MAVERICK" aka cherian...but as i said
lesser the words ..lesser the scope ... for the imagination... 
so why restrict urself ??
