[nukkad] A dilemma about the volume of email

This list has had nearly 30 messages in the past one hour. A lot
of these messages are 'chatty' in nature. I mean, many of these 
are one-liners or very short messages addressed to one particular
person. Such messages are best suited for a chat room, not a mailing
list.

I really don't want to stifle discussion but this level of 
email volume is not sustainable. Mail servers, inboxes
and attention spans are all heavily taxed when faced with
such traffic.

One easy test is to ask yourself if the message you are about
to send is of interest to the whole group or just one person.
In many cases, a direct, personal email is a better option.

Like I said, I don't want to discourage general discussion
but please consider this when hitting the 'send' button on 
your next email to 'nukkad'.
