BHAIYA thread further: 

Those early kids years during forties/fifties 
were quite innocent for me; and 
thots about respect or otherwise 
never occurred to me then; 
but one of features that mostly stood out then 
was that they had short hair on head with 
a thin CHOTLI projecting a little from 
back of head at abt 45 degree then 
going down and a little curly at bottom 
(this choti feature being more common 
than short hair.)
