Hussain,
If we leave politics apart, the humanitarian ground seeks that he be given
legitimate stay in France. There can be no appealing about it. But then evey
developed country is now a days increasingly worried about random asylum
seekers from third world countries. One case granted, may set an example and
pave way for many many more to seek legal refuge on identical basis.

I see your point .... that after all the citizens of a country which
in itself is intolerant of others shold not expect too much tolerance
from others...
but i disagree to the fact... that a person should as a result have to
spend half his life ( or more) living on an airport....
after all, there are lots of instances where muslims from countries where
they have been persecuted ( for supposed political reasons / otherwise )
have been
given asylum by the west... How come half of pakistans politicians lie in
england everytime
they lose an election or the military comes to power ?? how come Nawaz
sharif
gets to stay in england ? how come Nadeem (the music director,who is not
even
a refugee, but a criminal at large ) gets asylum in england ???
What a waste... of a life... you may look at it as 1 jehadi less.... but the
way i look at it is that maybe 1 forward looking educated guy ( he did study
in england)
who could have done something useful... was not even given a chance to do
so..
( this of course refers to only to the pre -1999 yrs after which he was
given an option
by the French govt, which he declined... god only knows for what )
