Just a slip. A consistent one.
People might have noticed that I get mixed up in "their" and
"there" also.

Other things are mostly keyboard errors. My 3 years old box has
the same keyboard. Most of the keys are stuck and make impression
only when hit at a very narrow particular angle. When I am typing
fast, the letters do not get punched.

> -social drinking

In my entire family, most of the mails take one or two pegs every
evening. Ladies don't drink, though one of my smartass jeeja ji
(brother in law) forced my sister (his wife) to take beer once.
He was so heavily scolded by everybody, young and elder.

But drink parties are not organised. When someone visits, drinks
are offered. (I guess it is more of an excuses for my dad to
drink himself)

There is a saying "it is 6:00 PM somewhere in the world".

When I grew up and went with dad to meet someone and they started
taking drinks. Mostly non-drinkers used to sit in some other
room. Then dad used to tell them to send a peg for me also. The
situation had been such that, three four family members were all
taking their drinks sitting in different rooms. Dad, myself and
my younger brother have never taken drinks or never smoken in
front of each other. Nor in front of mom, but she has a habit of
gatecrashing in the remotest nook.

Among sindhis I have heard that ladies take drink openly even in
the parties. Last year, there was one international sindhi
sammelan organised here. In this, the points for social
behaviours were enumerated. It fell flat on first point which
said that ladies should not take alcohol.

Would any sindhi bhai like to shed some light on the origin of
this habit, and its prevalence?

> -mistaken premise that it is sexually enhancing

My own experience is that it increases the desire but reduces the
performance. :)

And it does make one selfish in sex.

Any More experiences? and theories?

Which are red wines?

> -Bal Thackeray has stated on record that he cannot pass regular bowels unless he has warm beer( lol )

He has courage to say that he takes it, though this courage is
siding on stubborn ego.

That is correct. I was changing sender's id manually each time
before composing the mails. I access three pop3s and I was
changing them after downloading mails from one.

The ISPs are poor at quality. Competition is increasing.
Providing good quality service could have tilted the scales in
their favour. But that is what they are giving up and loosing
market share.

Till now I have used 4 ISPs and not satisfied with anyone.
HCLInfinet, Dishnet, Mantraonline, Satyam. That is the reducing
order of satisfaction with them.

I agree with you.

attachments are not always allowed. I guess a forwarded mail
becomes an attachment.

> Another aspect is that if email programs allow such facility, then there cud be a lot of fraud, finally blaming/charging the program provider to be an accomplice.

Every offline email reader provides that. Most of the online
email readers also provide some other id to be used as sender's
id.

That is indeed the only reason for this much SPAM.

But it can be found simply by looking at the header. If first
mailserver is different from the sender's doamin-host, then such
mails are sent from different id.
