[nukkad] Laptop

 What we need is either less corruption, or more chance to 
participate in it.

I plan to buy a lap top. Purpose is to be able to carry it from 
home to office and back so that my data is always available to me 
and I can make best use of time.

I shall be grateful for information on the following aspects:

1. What technical points [configuration, capabilities, gb, RAM 
etc.]to keep in mind when buying?
2. What brand/make/model to buy?
3. which one would be a smart buy, balancing brand, configuration, 
price etc.?
4. Where to get info on laptops?
5. Would it be advisable to buy one in India or to get one from 
USA?
6. Your own experience if you have owned or used a laptop.
7. Pros and cons of buying a laptop.
8. Right time to buy? Now, or after some time, for whatever reason 
[e.g., expected new model/technology/price crash etc.]
9. Any other relevant points.
