Anna, the Real Teacher : 

" ... clear the basic misunderstanding 
of the role of a teacher. 

It is not to FEED information 
IN the student's brain, 
the latter being passive. 
It is to HELP him UNDERSTAND 
difficult points and to HELP him 
LEARN how to GATHER further 
information and BUILD UP his 
knowledge in order to USE it.
 
That's what I've been trying 
to explain to my students and 
their parents 
since when I learnt it myself 
[which was not at the university 
but after I started teaching]. " 

A very right definition of 
the Teacher's Role. 

U doing great explaining this 
to students and parents. 
I m so happy about this. 

I wish school / college / univ 
r able to teach this aspect to 
students and convey this to 
their parents.
