Guys gals,

I think Satish if you dont like some posts it surely is ur discretion to 
ignore them, second many people post stuff here that does not interest me. 
Ghazals and Poetry are but an example but I am sure there are others her who 
do enjoy them, I cant ask those who do so to post it elsewhere. So in 
addition to being rude, i think its impolite to ask someone to cut out their 
posts. In teh past arguments had reached the stage that I was actually 
barred from some accounts :-) so maybe you have an option there.

Cherian when Satanic Verses wer banned it wa steh COngress in power :-) the 
BJP I guess dont "bank" on teh Islamic vote so maybe they will let it pass. 
after all politics would seem to be teh art of the opportunists :-)

Ragini's post made me remember a bookshop i was at  in Long Island. I was 
browsing teh shelves to bring back something for a nephew and a niece., when 
a lady walked in with her daughter, Brunnete and Caucasian about 40+ with a 
12 year old daughter she was aske dto do research on a Americaqn 
heritage/history  book. and a steh shop assistant and the lady were talking 
i suggested Uncle Toms Cabin and slavery, and teh mother goes is Slavery 
part of AMerican History? i nearly fell back in shock :-)
