Hi Sunita,

Well it is not as simple to take talaq as it sounds and basically the single 
sitting triple talaq is something which Indian muslim personal law allows. 
But in other islamic countries like pakistan etc... it has to be ratified 
and agreed to by the wife and be confirmed by the court of the country 
etc...before it is actually effective.

this is a good read on why India is probably more conservative in the muslim 
laws thanks to vote bank politics as compared to other islamic countries.
