[nukkad] FACTS TO MAKE EVERY INDIAN PROUD

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If, on the morrow, they should beat us at our national sport, just remember:
We beat them twice at theirs. - beginning of an article written by an English
sportswriter on the eve of the England/Germany 1966 World Cup final.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

.....ALL OF THE ABOVE IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG, THE LIST COULD BE
ENDLESS.

BUT, if we don't see even a glimpse of that great India in the India that we
see today, it clearly means that we are not working up to our potential; and
that if we do, we could once again be an evershining and inspiring country
setting a bright path for rest of the world to follow.

I hope you enjoyed it and work towards the welfare of INDIA.

Praveen.

--------------

You are absolutely right . Perhaps it`d be worthwhile to read the following
note I recieved recently :

Corruption at the top brings pain and poverty at the bottom...

Dear friends,

If we take 100 men or women are followed them closely from the start of
their
career for about 40 years till their retirement age, what we shall find is
this :>>

Only one Could be wealthy.
Four will be financially secure;
Five will continue working still not because they
want to work but because they have to work;
36 will be dead and rest 54 will be dead broke totally bankrupt and
dependent on
their Indian God or this cruel and brute society for a bare minimum standard
of living.
That's 5% successful, 95% unsuccessful.

This brings us to a conclusion more or less just 5% people in this huge
country are
living and rest are condemned to a miserable and lingering life of pain and
sorrow
and yet we heard on this Independence day our Ministers glorifying their
achievements
and singing songs of India's progress. What an eyewash attempt and brazen
lie.
Until these 95% people of India that form the healthy working core mass and
possess
an anormous momentum to push our elephant economy are made happy there is a
great danger looming large.

I suggest we should prepare petitions in millions and send emails to
Minister of Finance,
Pm, President and Justice of Supreme court and ask our government to start a
voter card
comulsory voter's pension of atleast 3500 rupees per adult in India
(irrespective of the fact if one is working or not). I am sure those who are
making a reasonable living will voluntarily opt out
of this scheme if the same is offered by the Government. And also, let us
not get carry away
with the lame excuse that government will present about money. There is
enough money
and resources to provide this basic social security to every citizen in
India so that one can have
a simple nourishing food, provision of bare minimum education of their
family children and
something in their pocket to get them medical and healing facility when they
need it so badly
and cannot get this in acute paucity of funds or on account of extreme
poverty.

Let us spare a few minutes and think ways to provide relieve to tens of
millions of poor
fellow Indians who have looked time and again on our leaders in vain. Let us
unite in the
name of humanity and provide our support to all in a united manner. I have
widely travelled
in all remote parts of India and have seen with my own eyes the pain and
misery that goes
beyond word to express.

Best regards

Ashok Sharma
