' Of the various paths to self-realization---

karma yoga (the path of action), 

jnana yoga (the path of knowledge or wisdom), 

raja yoga (the path of meditation), and 

bhakti yoga (the path of devotion or love)---

the poet (Shri Krishna in Bhagwad Gita)
clearly prefers the last. But he is aware that 
for people of different constitutions and affinities, 
different paths are appropriate. 
When he says that one particular path is superior, 
his statement doesn't come at the expense of the other paths. 
All paths and all people are included. '
