---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Love is blind but desire doesn't give a good goddam. --James Thurber ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wrote:<<Modi and the accused police officers need to be sent into the relief camps of Muslims one by one to be lynched or pardoned.>> Akshay responded: I need to see V P Singh(PM of india when kashmiri pundits were driven out), Farook Abdulla(CM) & Mufti "Bastard Saeed in chains taken to refugee camps of kashmiri pundits n to let them decide whether they are to be lynched or left. if they r left i shall lynch them personally. i need to see all surviving congressmen who were responsible for the attacks on sikhs taken to punjab n let victims decide whether they r to be lynched or not. alienating the sikhs(always our brothers in arms) was the worst crime against india - -i have no words to condemn that. ============ I fully agree with you on that. But you quote and understand me wrong in my earlier mail. You quoted me partially and ignored the next sentence. The full quote shouLd have been "If even half of what the tribunal reported is true, then Modi and the accused police officers need to be sent into the relief camps of Muslims one by one to be lynched or pardoned. But BEFORE we come to such a conclusion, we need to see if the commission arrived at its conclusion in a fair manner." And I proceeded to establish that the Tribunal has NOT BEEN IMPARTIAL in collection and assessment of evidence. Does this imply that I am recommending lyching of Modi & Co? I sure will, IF their complicity in the carnage is proved in an IMPARTIAL inquiry. Just as Farooq Abdullah, Sajjan Kumar, HKL Bhagat etc. should be subjected to same treatment. Please read the post carefully before criticizing. You seem to have at least glanced through it unlike Mr. Zaveri who just read the opening sentences and flew off the handle. Thanks for that. Also, I am in full agreement with you on the dangers of pseudo-secularism. They do more harm to minority communities by converting moderate Hindus into hardline. The tribunal's work is an example. Though I sympathize with the gujarat riot victims and felt that the State Govt. could have done better in quelling the violence (treating as a law and order problem rather than a politico-religious problem), I was appalled by the partiality with with the Tribunal approached the problem. That was the reason and motivation for my post. D.D.Pappoos ________________________________________________________________ NIIT supports World Computer Literacy Day on 2nd December.
