[nukkad] query: visited url history & misc

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are moments when art attains almost to the dignity
of manual labour. -- Oscar Wilde (1856-1900)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have set hostory as 0 in netscape, and every time I start
it, i see al urls freshly highlighte in blue underline.

In ie 5.5 also, i have set that to 0 days. yet I find that
the urls which I had visited once upon a time are
highlighted in brown/maroon/ red color for such urls.

I delete contents of c:\windows\hisoty also. I delete
cookies also. I delete entire offline content also.

IN staroffice 5.2 also, I am finding visited urls always
highlighted. In soffice.cfg in programfiles\office52 I found
some Hist01 to Hist99 links having such urls, I deleted them
amnually, those many links are being shown as fresh blue,
but there are several remaining links which were not in that
file which are still appearing dull maroon as visited.

It is very irritating because I want to use this thing as
the memory of work I had done in one day or in one sitting.
As every link appears highlight, I got lost in the file.

-------------
Where do ie and staroffice store its history of visited
links?

Is there any command to clear all such histories in either
of them?
--------------
I had heard a few months ago that staroffice 6.0 has been
released. Is it free? Is it available on any digit/ pcquest
cd?

---------------
I had uninstalled ns7.0 preview version received on digit
cd, because my mail-sending didn't work on it.

Is any newer ns version available on any magazine cd?

Regards.
-Rawat
