VULNERABLE IN LOVE

If your love dos not make you feel vulnerable, uncertain of
what comes next, you still a have distance to travel on the 
Path of Love Complete.

Your love may be entirely committed to you, living by your life, 
breathing by your breath, the beating of two heart as one, yet
the very nature of love leads to renewed experiences, higher
experience of being.

Love is not a state where two beings merge, that is only the
beginning. Love opens many states entirely closed for those
who do not choose to love, and or are closed to other hearts.

It is entirely possible to have lived forty years with someone
and have never invoked love, nor allowed it to arrive at the
threshold of the heart. When such a state ends, one stranger
dies in the arms of the other.

It is entirely possible to experience the most terrifying degree 
merging, with someone you have known for a day, and have 
never been able to forget over lifetimes.

You can take, in love, only if you can give. You can give,
in love, only if you can take.

If you do not feel supremely certain, and entirely vulnerable,
at the same time, something is wrong.

Love is complete, sudden, fierce, gently painful, and can be
felt in an instant.

Love is always an aftermath, you never see it coming, and know
of it only after it has engulfed you, disrupted everything in your life
you built over decades, and moved on.

Love is unforgiving, relentless, urgent, fiery, undeniable, cold 
as the night sky, heated as a volcano which bubbles but will not 
burst over centuries.

Love is something which does not consummate but is complete.

Such is love, and the state of the true lover who was mad
enough, foolish enough, fortunate enough, insane enough,
 to love.

Anything else is children's games at make-believe.
