Thus Spake the philosopher king S. Radhakrishnan.

" The history of human civilization is a record of ceaseless conflict
between conformity, an instinct to jealously cling to what it holds, and
that of expansion, the bubbling of life, of that vital urge that ceaselessly
strives to go beyond the existing frontiers of human mind. It is this
striving spirit that has given our civilization vigour and vitality to not
merely survive, but to flourish and progress. It is the freedom of mind that
results in a wealth of creation which propels us forward.

Education in the broadest sense of the term has a very vital contribution in
developing the higher mind, its conscience and its vision. Only the right
kind of education can help us attain an insight into the good, gain wisdom,
to welcome change and not shy away from it. Permanence belongs to eternity
alone. Unceasing change is the rule of life and the foundation of all
civilization. "
