Hinduism is too great and deep a concept in a billion hearts [80% 
indian population plus hindus outside india] to be doomed by any 
event, least by the results of a state election. Centuries of 
physical subjugation by the mughals and the British and the 
Portugese and the French could not subjugate our culture. A true 
and enduring culture, rather than being suppressed, gets more 
entrenched in face of oppression. Just as we are more vigilant 
about our belongings when a thief is on the prowl. Old timers are 
witness about the surge of Hindu nationalism during British Raj. 
The effect is poetically akin to:

Zurm-e-ulfat mein hamein log saja dete hain,
Kaise nadaan hain, sholon ko hawa dete hain.

The zurm-e-ulfat [ulfat for one's culture, in this transposed 
context] is just not suppressible.
