**** I agree. And one more thing - real democracy is reflected not only in
the way of organising social and political life, but also in the way of
thinking on the individual level. And this does not come easy. I can find a
lot of evidence in the modern history of my country, which is said to have
re-entered the pathway of democracy in 1989[after the communist regime had
collapsed]. It is still difficult to free ourselves from the 'us vs. them'
syndrome. Which leads to one-sided perception of democracy, focussing on
'right' and neglecting 'duty'.

**** I would suggest that Harshal uses that one day as a header for Nukkad
mails!
It is so very much true! Yet, requires some degree of maturity to realise.
Which happens at different stages of life to different people. The extremes
being: some mature at an early age, some other never do.

Which seems to be a universal truth.
